It’s about time women feel empowered to make financial decisions
Prioritizing your future self first
Many of us roll through life working hard in our careers to make money for the things we want in life, but rarely do we actually think about what those things really are.
It’s easy to see a paycheck come in, only to see it get taken away when the next credit card bill comes around.
We must allow ourselves to see the bigger picture of what is possible in our lives, so that we can be intentional about the ways we spend, save, and invest.
My approach with teaching financial literacy is to show how paying your “Future Self” first through saving and investing can not only create the feeling of empowerment today, but also helps you plan for and create the wealthy life that you have yet to dream of.
My Story
Like many of us, I used to worry about my financial future and questioned whether I was doing enough with my money, but was too intimidated to do anything about it. I was living below my means, had enough cash in my savings account, and even contributed to my 401k. I was still left wondering, “is that all?” and “what else am I missing?”.
In 2021, I left a marriage, moved, changed jobs, and finally started educating myself about money. Throughout the years, I’ve read countless books, taken wealth building courses, and made the money moves necessary to feel confident about the choices I making. My passion for financial literacy has only continued to grow.
I proved that I could do the work myself and see the benefits in my net worth, having money conversations with close friends that has changed their perspective about money, and now I want to do the same thing for women everywhere.
Im 2023, I quit my corporate job to dedicate my time and energy to something that truly drives and motivates me - teaching and coaching women how to build sustainable wealth by improving their financial literacy.
